Print: Baxter CL 94 – Used exclusively as the frontispiece to the book ‘British India’ by William Campbell

Under the print is the title and “Printed in Oil Colours by G. Baxter (Patentee), 3, Charterhouse Square, London.  Published by J. Snow, Paternoster Row."  Bangalore was a London Missionary Society station in Mysore, where William. Campbell, the author of the book, was located.

Condition: Excellent colours, minor spot to sky and some toning bottom right of page. Marks to the right border where it has been removed from the book.
