He is shown in uniform and wearing the riband and star of the Garter, and other decorations. The riband, suspended from the collar, is blue and neither arm is shown, so it is usually called "Wellington without arm." as there is a later similar version in which one of his arms is showing. The print was originally sold at 1s.
