Book: An interesting little volume of 130 pages by Courtney Lewes. By now the Baxter ‘fever’ had started and this was going to be the first annual review. In fact the First World War put a stop to that idea as the next and only other annual volume by CL didn’t get issued until 1919. It reviews the Baxter market in 1912 and gives a complete list of values. Also addition information not contained in Courtney Lewis’s first two books. Some photographs, adverts.

Condition: Original burgundy leatherette with gilt lettering, which is in very good condition apart from a couple of small ink marks. Offsetting on the inner leaves, the occasional corner crease and odd age spot else internally very good
