When in a pocket book under the print is the title and "From a Painting by W. S. Lacey" and "Baxter's Patent Oil Printing, 11, Northampton Square,"
 
It was here Queen Victoria heard Jenny Lind sing for the first time.  From one of the pocket books we can take the following description:
 
"STOLZENFELS.
"This castle is placed on a rock with the little village of Kapellen in the distance, and is about three miles above Coblentz.  It was built by the Archbishop of Treves, and was a favourite residence of those princely prelates.  The Princess Isabella, sister of Henry III of England and bride of the Emperor Frederick II, was lodged here in 1235.  It was destroyed by the French in 1698, and had been abandoned to decay until it was presented by the town of Coblentz to the present King of Prussia, while Crown Prince, by whom it was restored.  The castle is often visited on account of its fine view.  The King of Prussia received Queen Victoria here in 1845, and the apartments occupied by Her Majesty are ostentatiously shown.".
