Print: Le Blond Baxter - LB 165 – originally published by Baxter as CL 268 in 1858.
This print is sometimes called "Miss Mischief," or "Little Miss Mischief."  The shading at the foot of the print denotes this is a Le Blond reprint from Baxter's plates, You can read HERE - for more details.
When Le Blond reprinted from Baxter’s plates he removed Baxter’s signature and put on his own. The Le Blond signature was trimmed on many thousands of these prints, as on this example, in the late 1800’s, to pass them off as genuine Baxters.
