Print: It is stated as ‘Figure subject’ on the outer cover but it is in fact “The Pilgrims at the Bath of Sanctification” a Reward card from the set “Christiana & Her Children”
What makes this a little different is the presentation, it has been cut circular and is over mounted in 1920’s style cream and blue with a gold leaf type edging. The mount is then attached with paper corners to a soft brown card folder with a tissue guard over the print. The cover has a label with the title and the ref KR3908 which means nothing to me.
I have seen this type of presentation a number of times before and must relate to one of the big collectors of the early 20th century, Normally the covers aren’t in good condition and aren’t worth saving but I feel this is so I am leaving it for the purchaser to make their own choice
